Explore the rich history, organic chemistry, and ancestral techniques of rural Indian craftsmanship.

OUR NARRATIVE

The Gulmohar Chronicle

Slow Living

A Return to Slow Living

Gulmohar Aangan Artistry was born out of a desire to bridge the gap between India's legendary textile heritage and contemporary clean interiors. We saw blockprinting not just as a technique, but as a lifestyle—one of mindfulness, organic cycles, and connection to the artisans who carry these arts in their hands.

Dyes brewing

Colors Brewed by Nature

Every shade in our textiles has a story. We refuse to use industrial chemical dyes. Our printers brew colors using fermented indigo leaves, walnut shells, iron shavings, and pomegranate skins. The process is slow and seasonal, depending heavily on temperature, sunlight, and the chemistry of pure water.

Artisan Alliance

Artisan Alliance

Our network supports over 120 traditional printers and weavers in Sanganer, Bagru, and Bhuj. By working directly with family cooperatives, we guarantee fair wages and preserve the integrity of hand-block stamping. Every purchase helps fund clean water projects and traditional workshops in these regions.

A simple stamp of hand, a lifelong layer of heritage.

Every thread woven is a nod to our collective Indian roots.
